About Us

Corporate Deployments introduces a unique approach to junior military officer and senior enlisted evaluations, placements, and transition services.

We understand that this transition to the private sector will present cultural challenges and functional learning, and most of your new peers will not have experienced both aspects of this transition.

Our work does not end when our customized placement process matches a candidate to a corporate culture and business need. We remain engaged over the course of the first 13 weeks after the start date. Our onboarding process accelerates a candidate’s transition and helps deliver organizational value faster.

Companies understand that junior officers and senior enlisted bring unique skills and experiences when compared to their corporate peers and represent a high-potential, future generation of leaders. Finding the right skills & cultural fit takes time with candidates combined with insight into officer performance while on active duty. Corporate Deployments directly addresses this need while searching for top talent to introduce to clients. Where does your manager pipeline need to be strengthened, and how are you actively addressing this gap?

We are not your typical recruiting company. Corporate Deployments was founded by a Navy veteran who is also an experienced Fortune 50 executive and passionate people leader. To set the tone for your new private sector career, we guide you through the most crucial time of your job, helping you develop relationships with your peers, understand new work processes, and how to navigate successfully.

FOUNDER BIOGRAPHICAL
INFORMATION

Our founder, Charles Colagiuri, has flourished in both worlds and now seeks to build the bridge for the next generation of leaders.

After he was commissioned through the Navy ROTC program at Cornell University, Charles joined the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) as a Division Officer in the Combat Systems and Engineering departments. He earned his Surface Warfare Officer designation and Engineering Officer of the Watch qualification and deployed to the Mediterranean.

His second Navy assignment brought him to HR headquarters in Washington DC as a Detailer at the Bureau of Naval Personnel. This assignment provided deep insight into officer performance evaluation and career progression.

After leaving the Navy, Charles was a frontline supervisor with logistics provider Airborne Express before moving on to medical device manufacturer i-STAT as a Sales & Marketing analyst.

These very different experiences led him to business school at Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. A successful summer internship at Johnson & Johnson blossomed into a 17-year career with the company in supply chain management taking leadership positions in Sourcing, Planning, and External Manufacturing. He actively participated in leadership development programs at both the undergraduate and graduate school level and served on commercial boards and supply chain leadership teams for large, multi-billion dollar business units in North America.

Finding, developing, and retaining talent has always been a key to Charles’ success. His broad business foundation and energy for coaching & career development have led him to his latest venture, Corporate Deployments, where he brings forth his unique perspective on the JMO experience and transition to the private sector.
